I had the exciting opportunity to kickoff 2024 by speaking for Murrieta Valley Unified School District!
I shared my Heart of Inclusion speech with the approximately 3,000 teachers and administrators that care for 11 elementary, 4 middle and 3 high schools in the Southern California school district.
It was a very successful 3 engagement in one day task.
Speaking on the 20th anniversary of the signing of the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB), the landmark legislation enacted in 2002, that aimed to enhance education equity by setting high standards and establishing measurable goals was truly an honor!
And, reflecting back on the NCLB Act, I truly felt the weight of my impact to represent this great law and the challenges these teachers still face in the progress that has yet to have been made and how also I can help shine light onto the path forward to shaping an even more inclusive learning environment for all of their students.
Thank you, MVUSD for the awesome opportunity.
I hope to continue this work with other school districts and education organizations across the country to ensure that no student is overlooked on their journey to success. This work creates a direct line to change for future generations!
