HAPPY HOUR Design Collective

Published: Tuesday February 1, 2022

I’m so thankful to be partnering with HAPPY HOUR Design Collective (HHDC) for February 2022 and would like to spotlight them for all that they do!

HHDC is a creative force in Sacramento, California. They formed under the collaboration of two designers turned friends who own and operate individual design firms in the city. Founders Claire Jones and Rebecca Plumb have created a space for local designers to collaborate and focus on community where they can stay inspired, work and play.

The duo came together out of necessity including the space to house a lot of the tools of their trade that was to much for their home offices, their cooperation has led to a warehouse turned Co-Working Space, Materials Library and an Upholstery Showroom that is open for hosting clients and for designers to gather and discuss ideas.

HHDC is opening their space and lending their creative talent to enhance a beautiful environment for me to film some more with my friends from Colorfool Films as I am preparing a new Introduction Module on Disabling Ableism and Disability Inclusion in the Workforce!
