What an unforgettable speaking experience this week!
I had the incredible honor of speaking to 450 students and delivering a keynote to the dedicated staff and faculty of Winters Joint Unified School District a community that truly gets the Heart of Inclusion.
Together, we explored what makes each of us different and how those very differences are our superpowers. From classroom conversations to the cheers of students in the crowd during storytelling, the energy was electric and the connection was real.
The impact?
- Students stood up and proudly shared what makes them unique.
- Teachers opened their hearts and reflected on their own inclusion journeys.
- And the entire community leaned into empathy, understanding, and connection through the lens of disability.

These are the moments that remind me why I do this work. This is where change begins in our schools, with our kids, and with educators who care deeply about building inclusive learning environments for all.
I’m so grateful to be part of spaces like this where seeds of inclusion are planted and hearts are opened. These are the most important stages I could ever be on.
Thank you, Winters Unified, for welcoming me into your community and for embracing the message with such open hearts.
