I’m Back to celebrate Women’s History Month on The Multifamily Mind Podcast with Steve Wunch — Let’s Redefine What’s Possible, Together
I’m so honored to return for my second appearance on The Multifamily Mind Podcast with the incredible Steve Wunch! This episode, titled “Pushing Forward Women with Disabilities in Multifamily,” dives even deeper into the powerful conversations we started during my first visit—and I’m thrilled to keep the momentum going.
Being invited back to this space means the world to me. It signals that these conversations around diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) are resonating—and that we’re collectively ready to take action.

Sharing My Journey, Elevating the Conversation
In this episode, I speak openly about my journey as a woman born with a disability and my experiences navigating a world—and a professional landscape—that wasn’t originally designed with me in mind. Steve gave me the space to be vulnerable and real, which allowed us to have a deep and meaningful dialogue about what inclusion really looks like when it’s done right.
We talked about how accessibility isn’t just about ramps and parking spaces. It’s about creating cultures where people feel seen, supported, and celebrated for who they are. Whether it’s in the workplace or within the communities we live in, inclusion starts with intention—and grows with empathy.
DEIA in the Multifamily Industry
The multifamily industry has a unique opportunity to lead the way when it comes to inclusive community-building. From how we design our properties to how we hire and support our teams, there’s so much potential to elevate accessibility and embed it into the fabric of everything we do.
Steve and I explored how organizations can go beyond compliance and instead aim for connection. We talked about leadership, representation, and the importance of telling authentic stories to drive change. One of my favorite takeaways from this episode is this: disability IS diversity, and when we fully embrace that, everyone benefits.
Gratitude and Call to Action
I’m grateful to Steve for being such a gracious, curious, and intentional host. He asked thoughtful questions and really leaned into the importance of these discussions, and I believe this episode reflects our shared passion for creating better, more inclusive spaces.
To everyone in the multifamily world—and beyond—I invite you to listen with an open heart. Let’s continue challenging assumptions, breaking down barriers, and redefining what’s possible, together.
If you’ve ever wondered how to better support your residents, your team, or your community in becoming more inclusive and accessible, this conversation is a great place to start.
